Paper topics should be in accordance with scientific orientation of PhD. students and young scientists. It is necessary to focus on the main topic of the conference sections:

  • Business Management, Tourism and Services in Global Environment
  • International Business under Influence of Geopolitical Changes
  • Trends and Challenges in Marketing

Furthermore, based on paper topic participants register via on-line registration form to the conference and to one of the above-mentioned sections in which they will present their research results.

 

Paper length:

min. 8 - max. 10 pages (including pictures, tables, graphs and bibliography)

 

Language of the papers:

Slovak, Czech, English

 

Format:

Text editor MS Word 97 or later versions with parameters as follow:

  • Paper format A4 (ISO) - 21 x 29,7 cm
  • Page margins 2,0 cm
  • Mirrored page margins
  • Header and footer 1,25 cm
  • Horizontal alignment: justified
  • Font Tahoma 12 pt
  • Line spacing (1)
  • Footnotes are forbidden (besides author´s contact details and research project info)

Formal structure of a paper:

Please, use the template “paper_template_2024.docx” for papers written in English or the template "sablona_prispevku_2024.doc" for papers written in Slovak or Czech language.

 

There are built-in styles of each paper structure as follow:

  • Title of the paper (Tahoma 14pt, Bold, alignment centered, spacing after: 14pt);
  • Authors (Tahoma 12,5pt, Normal, alignment centered, spacing after: 6pt, paragraph border bottom – line 0,5pt);
  • Abstract – heading (Tahoma 12pt, Bold, Italic, alignment justified, spacing after: 6pt);
  • Abstract - text (Tahoma 12pt, Italic, alignment justified, spacing after: 12pt);
  • JEL Classification (Tahoma 12pt, Bold, alignment justified, spacing after: 12pt, paragraph border bottom – line 0,5pt);
  • Introduction, Conclusion - heading (Tahoma 12pt, Bold, alignment justified, indentation 0pt, spacing before: 12pt, spacing after: 12pt);
  • Text (Tahoma 12pt, Normal, alignment justified, first line indentation 0,8cm, spacing after: 6pt);
  • Section heading (Tahoma 12pt, Bold, alignment left, 1. level of numbered list, hanging indentation 0,8 cm, spacing before: 12pt, spacing after: 12pt);
  • Subsection heading (Tahoma 12pt, Bold, alignment left, 2. level of numbered list, hanging indentation 0,8 cm, spacing before 12pt, spacing after 12pt);
  • List of references (Tahoma 12 pt, Normal, alignment justified, numbered list, hanging indentation 0,63 cm);
  • Indentation (Tahoma 12pt, Normal, alignment justified, indentation left 0,8cm, hanging indentation 1,25cm);
  • Table,Graph,Figure - title  (Tahoma 12pt, Bold, alignment justified, indentation left 0,0 cm);
  • Source (Tahoma 10pt, Normal, alignment justified, indentation left 0,0 cm;
  • Notes (Tahoma 10pt, Normal, alignment justified, indentation left 0,0 cm, hanging indentation 0,2 cm.

 

Please, follow these styles to avoid problems while producing conference proceedings.

 

Other formal requirements:

  • There has to be 1 empty line only in the end of section/sub-section, before and after a table, graph, and/or figure,
  • Citation method: parenthetical reference in the text – by name and date, f.e. (Kotler, 2001),
  • Author must refer to all figures, tables and graphs in the text of the paper,
  • Rename file of your paper to LastName_Name.doc/or .docx (f.e. Smith_John.doc or Smith_John.docx) before submitting
