2. The editor of the proceedings,
3. Reviewers,
4. The publisher.
RESPONSIBILITY AND PUBLICATION OF CONTRIBUTIONS
Only original, previously unpublished papers, which are the authors' own work, are published in the conference proceedings.
In accordance with the aforementioned provision, papers that have already been published and papers that meet the definition of plagiarism or unauthorised or unlawful interference with copyright under the Copyright Act, as amended, are automatically rejected with appropriate justification.
The information for the authors published on the conference website is binding. Responsibility for compliance with all necessary prerequisites and requirements for papers published in the journal lies with:
- The editor of the proceedings,
- The authors of the contributions for the content, grammatical-stylistic level and linguistic accuracy of their contributions.
PEER-REVIEW PROCESS
The peer-review of papers for inclusion in the conference proceedings shall be conducted in an independent and impartial manner.
A summary of the outcome of the peer-review process, together with guidance on how to proceed, will be sent to the authors of the papers by e-mail after the review reports have been received by the Chair of the Scientific Committee and the editor of the proceedings.
Submissions will be automatically rejected, with the corresponding written justification, if the paper demonstrably fails to meet the minimum standards and benchmarks of scientific ethics that are set and generally accepted by the scientific public and the scientific community, whether in terms of scope, content, methodological background, methodology used, etc., as well as in terms of the accurate, complete and scientifically correct citation of all bibliographic references used.
OBLIGATIONS FOR AUTHORS
Authors of papers have an obligation to use objective reasoning and objective results of scientific research. The data base of scientific research should be presented accurately.
References used in the proceedings must enable readers to reproduce their work objectively.
Misleading or knowingly incorrect statements are considered unethical behavior and are unacceptable.
Authors are required to verify that they are presenting original work, and if they have used sources from other authors in their work, they must cite them correctly and acknowledge them in the reference list.
If an author discovers a serious error or inaccuracy in his/her own published work, he/she is obliged to immediately inform the Chair of the Scientific Committee of the conference and to cooperate with the editor of the proceedings in withdrawing the paper from the production process or in publishing a correction of the paper.
If the editor of the proceedings becomes aware from a third party that the published text contains serious errors, it is the responsibility of the author to immediately withdraw the paper from the publication process at the editor's request, or to correct the paper, or to provide the Chair of the Scientific Committee and the editor with evidence of the accuracy of the original conclusions of the paper.
The paper should be sent from the academic institution e-mail address. If you do not use or do not have your academic institution e-mail address, you are supposed to introduce yourself in a detailed way.
When sending a scientific paper, authors should respect the deadlines.
MALPRACTICE AND PLAGIARISM POLICY
Authors must avoid research misconduct including but not limited to falsification, duplication, and plagiarism. Cases of suspected malpractice must be investigated by editors. If a malpractice is documented, even after the article is published, the article may be retracted.
Using someone else’s ideas, words, or data, in part or in whole, without correctly acknowledging the original source is considered as plagiarism. Plagiarism is a serious malpractice. Manuscripts that are highly similar to the existing literature may be immediately rejected.
OBLIGATIONS OF THE EDITOR
The editor decides on the inclusion of the papers in the proceedings, based on the reviewers' opinions or other input.
The editor deals with manuscripts in terms of their content and quality without regard to the race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, nationality or political views of the authors.
The editor may not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to any parties other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, and the publisher.
Unpublished data presented in the submitted manuscript may not be used in the editor's own research without the explicit written permission of the author.
Essential information or ideas obtained during the peer-review process are considered confidential and cannot be used for personal gain.
Unethical behavior in publishing in the proceedings is investigated by the Scientific Committee of the conference.
The editor, in cooperation with the publisher, will make all articles freely available. All articles are published on the conference website in the form of open access.
OBLIGATIONS OF REVIEWERS
Peer review is an integral part of formal scholarly communication.
Reviewers are approached by the editor of the proceedings from among the members of the Scientific Committee of the conference or from among experts in the field.
Each manuscript must be treated as confidential material by the reviewer. He/she must not show the manuscript to anyone else, nor discuss it with anyone else, except under an exception granted by the editor of proceedings.
Reviewers accept the obligation to perform a critical, honest, constructive, and unbiased review of the scientific quality of the manuscript according to their area of expertise and ability.
It is not considered appropriate to make any personal judgments regarding the authors of the manuscripts.
Reviewers check manuscripts only when there is no conflict of interest.
Reviewers shall express their professional opinions in a clear, understandable manner and adequately support them with arguments.
Reviewers shall indicate in the review any data that the author has misquoted or not misquoted.
The reviewer will alert the editor in the event of substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under review and any other published study of which he/she is aware.
If the reviewer, in evaluating the manuscript, becomes aware that there may be a conflict of interest arising from competing or other relationships with the authors of the manuscript, he/she will notify the executive editor, who will decide on the next course of action in the review process.
In order to meet the deadlines, the reviewers undertake to evaluate the peer-reviewed manuscripts in the shortest possible time.
CONFERENCE FEES
Conference participants pay the conference fee prior to the conference. The amount of the fee is published each year in the conference information. Payment of the fee does not guarantee that a conference participant's paper will automatically be included in the conference proceedings.
